Project Manager at Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (DIEDC)
Alexandra Ivanova serves as Project Manager in Strategy & Planning at the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (DIEDC) where she oversees the development and implementation of initiatives in Islamic FinTech, Islamic Art and Culture, Creative Economy, Entrepreneurship and Education under the strategy of “Dubai the Capital of Islamic Economy”.
Prior to her role at DIEDC, Alexandra worked as a consultant for Pink Tank where she researched and co-drafted the ‘Global Perspectives on the Islamic Creative Economy’ report commissioned by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. She previously published an economic study on Beirut’s art market at GAIA-heritage in Beirut and worked at the Development Unit of the Institut du Monde Arabe (Museum of the Arab World Paris). Alexandra has built an expertise in cultural policy and strategy design, creative industries, strategy analysis and partnership management.
Alexandra holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business from Sciences Po Paris and speaks six languages fluently. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political and Social Sciences from Sciences Po Paris’ European campus of Dijon and currently serves as Executive Board Member for e7 Daughters of the Emirates, a community impact programme and social initiative by Promise of a Generation (POAG).
